Essentia Water Named Best Label Design at Beverage Digest Awards

Inaugural award program highlights creativity and spotlights innovators across the North American beverage industry

Essentia, the pioneer of ionized alkaline water in the U.S., has received top honors at the inaugural Beverage Digest Awards under the category of Best Label Design. The award was announced at a ceremony during Beverage Digest Future Smarts on December 7 in New York City.

“It’s an honor to receive this award and a truly meaningful conclusion to what has been an exciting year of growth for Essentia,” said Ken Uptain, CEO and founder of Essentia Water. This award marks the latest recognition in what has been a banner year for the brand. In October, Essentia was awarded “Best Functional Water” and “Best Marketing/Social Campaign” at the 2018 Global Bottled Water Awards in Evian, France.

Essentia was also named Beverage Forum’s “Small Company of the Year” amidst top brands with $1 Billion in revenue or less. As Essentia has continued to outpace growth in the premium bottled water category – surpassing $183M in retail measured sales1 – the effort in developing a unique label design to resonate with its core millennial consumer is clearly hitting the mark.

The first glimpse of a new course that has been built on the Fife coast overlooking the Firth of Forth has certainly set tongues wagging.

Dumbarnie Links has been designed by Clive Clark, a former Ryder Cup player. The release of a first photograph at the end of the construction phase has generated a positive response from the golf media around the world. Many people believe that Clive Clark has created something very special that will become a jewel amongst the world’s premier links golf courses. The course will be operated and managed by OB Sports Golf Management, an American based company that manages around 60 courses and country clubs in the US.

“There was already so much to be excited for with Dumbarnie Links – a spectacular parcel of land with extraordinary sweeping panoramic water views over the Firth of Forth, in the ideal location for a bucket-list golf experience,” said the Englishman. “With everything else that has gone right so far in the early stages, there is a palpable energy about how great this genuine links golf course is going to be. It’s very exciting.”
